We were delighted with the engaging discussions Sandbox generated at our annual conference in Edinburgh. With over 100 delegates at the first interactive session, Simon Robertshaw and his team facilitated an energizing and thought provoking environment, blending technology and intensive face-to-face contact.

We had great fun networking and quickly produced an international article based on delegate feedback on the state of business schools. Importantly, the feedback was in real time and the creative ideas generated during the 90 minute session have informed our strategic planning. As part of the Association of Business Schools Annual General Meeting, Sandbox were asked to facilitate a session on the following ideas: ‘Planning for the brave new world – key issues and progressive ways forward’

Using ‘RED’ information technology, Sandbox facilitated a highly participatory individual and group session. This took place in the ‘World Café’ format and the participants were asked the following questions:

1. How are you experiencing the current challenges to HE?
2. What initiatives and ideas have you in place to help you successfully meet these challenges?
3. How can the ABS best support you in meeting the challenges?
