Kleeneze Workshop at Sandbox
Jamie Stewart
Managing Director Kleeneze Ltd, Chairman UK Direct Selling Association
"I came across Sandbox on a tour of the UCLAN site, and knew straight away that they offered a unique service that really can only be appreciated by visiting their site or experiencing their services. Their use of technology and processes are hard to find anywhere else.
I have since used Sandbox for a large conference (over 200 people) to help facilitate change within the Direct Selling Association involving members who themselves are senior managers and directors of their own companies and also within the Kleeneze business to help bridge the gap between office based staff and our self employed distributor network. On both occasions the Sandbox team demonstrated a clear understanding of the objectives from the workshop and ensured that they gathered the results during the workshop and delivered them back to us post event. I would confidently recommend them to anyone."
Background
Kleeneze is a direct selling UK based company established in 1923 and pioneering in home shopping since the 1960’s. Direct Selling is a 20 billion Euro industry and growing steadily (9.6% in 2006) and is also the UK’s most significant provider of part time, independent earning opportunities.
The company is enjoying a new peak after being bought by Findel one of the largest direct mail order businesses in the UK. The team has worked really hard to understand a business that was totally new for them and to help recover the company and the confidence of the distributors.
Objective
The objective of this session was to engage the Kleeneze team into developing a vision for the team and the business with the participation and contribution of distributor’s experiences and stories.
Outcomes
In addition to all the digital and visual recordings from the Lego Serious Play and red sessions we rounded up the day with an interactive graphic template to engage the participants in harvesting (literally, as the graphic template we used was one of a tree) the strengths, future goals and values and behaviours required to reach this goal.
All the outcomes from the session are recorded digitally and made available to the client and the participants through a password protected website. This helps participants keep the momentum after the session.
