Behind the scenes Sandbox has its own development team, working on cutting-edge interactive technology. This innovative technology is solely developed to complement our facilitated workshops. RED is our in-house and unique software. It is a multi-layered piece of interactive technology, which now has a number of facilitation tools within it. Visit here to read more and see it in action.

The Sandbox technologists are continuously developing our technology in collaboration with our Creative Facilitators. Every tool we use is to aid the process of a workshop. We see technology as an extremely significant tool; however, we only use it in a workshop if it is user-friendly and adding value.

RED Software

RED is a piece of software that has been developed entirely by the Sandbox team. It is an interactive screen that holds a number of tools within. RED is Sandbox’s answer to the flipchart. It is a technological toolkit that allows groups of people to anonymously and collaboratively communicate, explore and drill down in real-time on topics that require a shared understanding and/or future focus.

Social Network Analysis

Sandbox has developed Social Network Analysis as an application within our RED software. Social Network Analysis is a tool that allows a group of people to visualise their network as a group, live. This is an application that takes a number of minutes and is completed via an iPad application. Visit here to find out more.

Cultural Mapping Tool

The Cultural Mapping Tool looks at the relationships between individuals and how they locate, operate and flow through selected environments and public spaces. It utilises a number of creative methods and technologies to extend this discussion and provide a measure of its intrinsic benefits, lodged within a framework suitable for widespread use.
